Bardstown, Kentucky Newborn Photographer | DJ’s Newborn Session

Little sweet DJ was a pleasure to work with, he was almost 3 weeks old when he came to see me for his newborn session. I surprised the parents with the colors I was using, and they were so excited I chose greens, as that is the color they did with their daughters newborn session as well! I think it looked beautiful on his skin tone. While I was photographing sweet DJ his little sister was watching and asking so many questions, she was so excited to have a baby brother. DJ was wide awake for a lot of shots but once I got him wrapped up he went fast asleep!

DJ’s parents were so excited to have a little boy! I love doing posed photos for all newborn sessions with parents. It is so important to capture the family with the baby, especially if they have siblings.

Detail shots are my favorite! Their little faces wont be this little for long, so its so important to me to capture those little noses, and eyelashes.
